(SPOT.ph) Does anyone remember Meteor Garden? Back in the early 2000s, the Taiwanese drama (and F4) took the Philippines by storm. ABS-CBN also re-aired episodes in 2014. Over 10 years later, its star, Barbie Xu (a.k.a. Shan Cai), has joined another, more current craze.

The actress first took to Twitter over the weekend to ask a question we have all likely wondered at some point.
Fans were quick to bring her up to speed, but she didn't stop there. On September 23, she left a message for Maine Mendoza on the latter's Instagram account.
Barbie isn't the only unlikely fan of Eat Bulaga's love team. Manila City Vice Mayor Isko Moreno posted a photo on his Instagram account to share that he and Mayor Erap Estrada watch the KalyeSerye over their lunch break.
